The number one broadband internet service in the country today is available to everybody within the Accra/Tema metropolis. This is as result of the completion of the first round of expansion and upgrade works which was put in effect by BBH, the parent company.
"we desire to do a second round of expansion works and get that completed by close of November this year" said the CEO of BBH, Mr Osei Owusu-Korkor. "The issue is, we prefer to have all individual users get the indoor units which promotes MOBILITY. Currently, Mobility is a key attribute to any good technology of which the WIMAX forum emphasises greatly. Mobility is just as important as Reliability and SECURITY all of which our system deliver very well, and as a matter of fact better than the competing EDGE technology if you think about convergent services"
The company says, the second round of expansion works shall cover all black hole areas which may occur due to dense foliage and other transmission impediments.
